Priorities
1. Work on finishing up your deadlines if you haven't already. I'll be here to help if you need it.
Head to the forum and contribute to the discussion about committee goals. All committee heads and members are welcome to comment.
2. I've completed a preliminary budget. Note, this is a preliminary budget, not the final version. Also, the only money I'm working with right now is I-Fee money; we have general fee money we can dip into when the need arises.
3. Committee Head meetings at 6:30. We'll try to do this weekly/bi-weekly.

Japan Night is the second week of winter term. Japanese Student Organization members have helped our event out in the past, and so we need to return the favor. I'm going to ask each member of I-Week and Night to spend at least one hour volunteering for Japan night.
Volunteering will start Friday, January 16th at 10:00 a.m. and end Saturday, January 17th, and they mostly need help in the Kitchen (this is an excellent opportunity to find out what you guys are going to be in for the weekend of International Night). If you volunteer for 5 hours, JSO members will give you a T-Shirt and a free ticket to the event. The T-Shirt design is pretty awesome (I know the guy who designed it), and their food is usually pretty good.
Check out their facebook event and sign up if you can. It would be awesome if we could show them that ISA supports their event.

We've set the date for the retreat. It's going to happen the first weekend of January. My understanding as of now is that we're going to leave after coffee hour in vans provided by ASUO. Sean Jin (food committee head and ISA PR Officer) and myself will be driving the ASUO vans up. Peter has graciously decided to drive anyone else up that we need, so hug him next time you see him.
Please remember to dress warm because it gets cold on the Oregon coast.
1. China Night is scheduled on Sunday, January 25 at Ballroom from 6p.m.
CSA expects to have some volunteers from ISA. Volunteering starts at 10a.m on Saturday and Sunday.
