Here is where we're going to post our (preliminary) goals for our committees. This is so that you will have a very basic roadmap of where you want to take your committee, and it will give me an idea of what you think your committee should be doing. This will also help you become familiar with the wiki page.
I'll start. My goals for IWN (I'm still working on these) are as follows.
1. Have a quick and catchy theme, name or (image)brand for IWN2009 so that when everyone sees the theme, name or (image)brand, they'll instantly recognize IWN2009 and what we're about.
2. Have a steady stream of audience members attending I-week events.
3. Have a healthy mix of community members and students attending I-night 2009.
3a. Sell out tickets to I-night 2009.
4. Have all our committee members out of the kitchen for the show on Sunday night.
5. Healthy collaboration between PR and Decoration/Design committee (this has never been a problem in the past, but it's especially imperative this year because Design and PR are so intertwined).
6. Collaboration and relationship building with all other International Student Groups on campus.
This is just a quick list. Everyone is free to offer feedback and critique my goals. Committee heads should respond with a preliminary and quick list of goals. Committee members are encouraged to read these goals and offer feedback.
